PLAYER BIO

My name is Kara Fossler and since the age of 3 I have been kicking around a ball. My parents recognized my talent at a young age and at the age of 5 I joined my first soccer team. Since then, I have played with multiple teams and have been trained by some great coaches. I finally found my place with an all boys team and a club in San Antonio, TX, SA FORCE FC. 3 years ago, I was selected to represent the Olympic Development Program of South Texas. This is something that I have enjoyed being a part of supplemental to my club team. I was selected to attend a player ID event in Charlotte, North Carolina for an ODP Regional Team and really appreciated being able to compete against girls from the southern part of our country. Outside of required training with FORCE FC and ODP South Texas I put in extra work by training one on one with some very special coaches who have helped me continue to develop my skills. Not only do I put in work on the field, but also in the classroom. I am an honors student and was selected for my school's STEM program. My personal goal is to excel on and off the field all while enjoying the beautiful game.
